  3. Love this! Love the song, too, and periodically remind myself that that is sometimes the way life works. It's actually a perfect reminder this very day.

  4. What a sweet and lovely post with so beautiful photos of dear and so missed Phoebe.
Albert is adorable as always and now with a new friend, the cute Harry.
    Lots of hugs.

  5. Wild horses couldn't drag me away . . .

  6. Clearly, Cat has decided that Albert is his loyal subject.

  7. Yes, but Albert's the one with a small but loyal fan base.

  8. However, Albert has had a lot more press coverage. I'll bet Cat's fan base is growing.

  9. May you, Albert, Harry, and all "get what you need" this weekend.

  10. Everyone loves Albert. But I do have a soft spot for orange cats, so count me amongst the fan base for both of them.

  11. Reminds me of how loud I used to sing that song back in the 60s when my first husband bailed. I finally got friendly with his girlfriend and told her that she had done me a favor. Silence. Then, "How well I know it".

Harry? Did I miss something in the naming of the cat? Remember, a cat must have three different names....

  12. Orange cats are the best! He's got what he wanted - a nice cosy sofa. Not sure if he wanted to be near Albert, but he's willing to share. And Albert's such a gentle soul, he's just happy to have company.

  13. That's right, John -- Cat is trending. Ms M -- thank you. Yes, let's. Marjie -- sweetest cat I've ever met. Although, he does bit Albert's tail when he's up for a little excitement. Doris, just trying "Harry" on for size. I suspect it's "Cat" that will stick. Bellis, Cat is very fond of Albert, and plants himself at the door when Al is outside.

    1. btw I HATE (yes, I know it's a strong word) the word 'trending'. Hate it with a passion. Please don't ever use it again. hahahaha

    2. She's going to use it again just to get your goat. Watch for it.

Do you have a goat? You can name it Goat and it can be friends with Albert and Cat.

  14. Oh Ron, what a find! Everyone's so young, and relatively wrinkle free, and Mick's dancing is very weird. But my favorite bit is David Frost saying. "We'll be back in a moment with Prince Charles."

  16. That youtube was so cool! Keith looks like a baby - that's why you didn't recognize him! And pupils the size of quarters!
Love seeing the restful group at your place!

  18. It's the attack of the lazy, hazy days of summer, and it's not even August yet. What gives. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  19. I remember that Phoebe was queen. It looks like Albert and Cat have a more equal relationship.

  20. I love seeing Albert with company. 'Cat' is a fine name for a cat. If it's good enough for Holly Golightly, it's good enough for me.
