A peek beneath the tent
My famous friend, artist Elizabeth Garrison, let me use one of her ceramic pieces to illustrate a Patch column. See it here; click to enlarge.
The tile is just a taste, a mere sip, of what's to come. Garrison, along with artist/partner Victor Henderson will have a new installation opening this year, and I'll give you all the info when the time comes. Or go to her blog -- Pasadena Adjacent -- link on the blogroll. (That's all for now as I still haven't figured out who you have to sleep with to get a second paragraph on Blogger.)

Love your full Patch article. As always, you make me laugh. Lizard callisthenics indeed! Liz's tile's up there with Batchelder's - no, it's much better. Where can I get one?
The Blogger geeks will be coming out of the woodwork now. :-)
that tile is awesome.... 2nd paragraph? do u have it on 'compose'? someone else had the same problem... and no, ain't a blogger geek, my friend posted how she got a 2nd paragraph..lol
Bellis -- far, far better than Batchelder. I've always meant to ask her if she ever sells her tiles individually.
Wayne, Should bring in some interesting spam today.
KBF, Will check.
The tile is wonderful.
I'll just come back to learn about the solutions to using new improved blogger.

There's got to be a good looking blogger geek out there somewhere for you to sleep with!
Evidently, you have to sleep with my husband for a second paragraph. Or maybe just be sure it's set on "compose". Good luck.
Marjie, your generosity exceeds all bounds.
I agree with Bellis.
No generous households here. Despite that keep it on compose and see if it helps.
KB, ask Petrea, Garrison, Bellis, Marg, the DP de DooDah Queen, who you have to sleep with to get blogger help.
Sincerely, CP your trusty canine & womans best friend
@Cafe: ok, who? lol
Can't wait to see Liz's piece.
Wonderful piece on Patch! You do such good work :)
What a coincidence -- I was just gushing over at your site. Oh, Ms M, that photo essay of yours took me back to a very special place.
Nice plug for PA! Also a very enjoyable piece at Patch. Lizard push ups! And that dropping the tail biz is just bizarre. Then again, as I get inches closer to understanding what "we" now think about black holes, I ask, what in nature is NOT bizarre?
I can't help feeling a pang of guilt when I read about lizards as I'm reminded of the time Tommy decapitated one. Poor guy. But you make me laugh, Hiker, and that helps. So do these comments.
Just great your article on Patch.
Love the ceramic tile by Elizabeth Garrison.
Lizards (lagartixa in Portuguese)are friends inside of my house too, they eat insects.
