Not really a bad way to have to woik, outdoors in Hahamongna, grazing on the plants, is it? Maybe the plumbing research was less pleasant? You've done a good job keeping Patch rolling along in the last few days.
I like the wild-weed guy very much. I liked the way you portrayed him (Ian got latched onto the gloom & doom Internet videos - I cannot believe I raised such a irrational kid). My grandmother was like that...a great forager. Only, she was the only one who ate her pickings. She used to pick skinny wild asparagus in Istria. I never tried it as a kid.
Just I stopping by your post, I guess: "what woik means?" So I Google and I did not had any clue... Then I click on Urban Dictionary. What a good Dictionary! Good woik, Karin.
You’re doing pretty well . After all, it’s not so much “woik” if you enjoy it right? Good luck on this endeavor ! Hope you have more write ups to come! Keep it up!

Once I had a sewer problem that really was the city's responsibility. They were puzzled and mad that they had to fix it.
Our wild salad ingredients (in the northeast) look and sound different than yours. But I will enjoy them again in April.
I enjoyed reading your woik.

Nicely written articles indeed.

Eat, eat. Don't get me started on my Polish grandfather and his fungus.
You bum! why didn't you invite me?
I've dinned on Arroyo Seco mustard greens. My southern mother flipped when she discovered them growing wild
Yes, nice woik.
Have you seen Agnes Varda's "The Gleaners and I"?

Good woik! I enjoyed reading both of your articles. (And good luck with the sewer problems!)
Unduly modest as usual. Everything you write is fabulous.
Oh, thanks. But I tripped over my shoelaces this week and made some mistakes. But no one died because of them (to my knowledge).

Good woik, Karin.
Enjoyed your pieces... those small touches of our memories.
Sonia, I should have put this up http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMOWYGrtY9c
But it would have been one more link.
Funny clip, Karin!
Mel Brooks & Gene Wilder are really funny!
I thought that would tickle your Brasilian sensibilities.
