We had a hard time keeping the really tall kid in the striped shirt out of the sandpit.
After a while, we just stopped trying. After all, it was a winter afternoon, the sun was shining, and we didn't have a care in the world.
Visit Steve. That big kid can shoot a cactus.

Those magnolia blossoms are gorgeous!.
It's been way, way too long since I've been there or taken my kids.
What fun! And the Japanese magnolia is beautiful.
I could spend hours with those filings. The magnolia in full bloom looks extra beautiful with the back lighting.
we are all born creative. but after awhile, we all stop trying. pragmatism, they call it.
I agree with Bellis.
Never too old to be a kid. Oh yes, those blossoms are gorgeous.
It's so nice to visit blogs from places that already have flowers blooming. : ) Plus, this post brought back wonderful memories of the Mud Bakery that I used to run with my childhood friend Stacey. (Everything was "chocolate", hee)
Who is that striped person yearning to get sand under the fingernails?
When I became a man I put away childish things. That was my first mistake....you took your lucky break and broke it in two!
You mean those poor kids weren't given anything digital to play with? What is this world coming to?!
The character in the striped shirt is Susan. Or when she's at the playground, we call her Susie.
I agree with Susan, never to old to be a kid, even though to have a kid spirit and soul.
Love the Steve photos. The cactus's picture is stunning!
Talking of fun things to do, read Karin's latest Patch article and leave a comment.
I recognize the big kid. The striped boatneck tee and nautical whites are a give away. She is what I call a young soul
Do we have to stop kids from playing in the sand or filings, just because they're big? Good for Susie, not giving up.
Where is the snow ... We have snow here, about three feet.
The pics really create a great sense of the kids at work. Intently! And the flower shot at the end are . . . how many of said "gorgeous"? But it is.
Looks like a fun time -- never too late to be a kid again. And the last photo is gorgeous!
Looks like fun!!!
The magnetic sand is pretty tempting. You really can't blame her.
If this is the ultimate etch a sketch, shove over, there's a new kid in town.
Love that pic looking up through the blossoms.
Hey, from the post after this, you now have my vote. Flattery will get you everywhere. Also, to you, too, sonia. (www.templecitydailyphoto.blogspot.com)
Love that last photo. So gorgeous!
Magnolia shot is now iPad wallpaper... I feel like I should give you the doller fifty that's in my bank account.
