Intermission

A few pictures from the High Dena today. We have some time to melt and towel off, and then more storms expected next week.

(Don't miss the action from the real photographers. To see different takes on our snowy caps, check out Glimpses of South Pasadena, The Sky is Big,Palos Verdes Daily Photo, East of Allen, Altadena Daily Photo.)

I just about fell over when I saw these. That first shot needs to be on a poster for Los Angeles -- mountains and a palm tree.

I'm posting a shot of the snowy hills tomorrow, but nothing compares to these. Take a bow, you talented woman.

Whoa Hiker - these are gorgeous! Those snow capped mountains are something. The sight almost made me swerve across three lanes of traffic today. Hoping to get up to the Grapevine area tomorrow.

Fab photos Ms AH!!! You certainly have taken up the gauntlet and given our Ms Laurie a run for her blarney...er blog money!!!! (read between the error in that line AH...that's my unabashed attempt at plugging your magnificence!!!)

On a serious note...I went out yesterday late afternoon and tried to get some shots of the mountains...they came out dark, gloomy and did not come close to the magnificence that you brought to us today!!! I bow to the Hiker!!!

So glad I got these in before you real photog's strut your stuff. My only thought was -- how would you guys shoot it.

I took pictures up a street & a trail near La Vina, north on Chaney, and on Loma Alta.

Mmf. Mmmwowm. Oh jeez. These are so good, sooo purty. Makes me almost want to go be out on the cold mountain. Wasn't it glorious today? A lot of it melted off by late afternoon, but the morning was not to be missed and you did it justice.

Hiker: These are all good, but photo # 1 is SO California and SO delicious that I'd like to eat it with a spoon! It embodies "Having it All," which is what California promises but rarely delivers.

I'm guessing you always deliver what you promise...

I have my sunglasses on, Im filling my lungs with clean mountain air, I'm running down the road with KB, the Über-dena Hiker.
As Virg and I like to say, that's just not fair.

Oh my. I rarely ( if ever) agree with W, but I must today. I was content when you were the funny, pithy, clever one, but now you're horning in on us photographers! It ain't fair I tell ya!

My apologies for using the same title. I noticed it the other day....

Right now I'm doing a little blogger rearranging to see if this Pasadena Adjacent reroute thing works. I want a picture next to my name! (it seems to work for Ms H)
