To a friend who is on the loose in France

A little old world culture is good for the soul. I’ve been to Paris on my own several times and well remember Paolo and Adrian and Alain and Louis and Roberto and Jacque and Robert and Claude and Claude and Claude.

Anyone been to the Louvre? I've heard that's also worth a visit.

Vraiment, elle fait la magnifique photographie. Voici le link.

So you're saying there are a lot of Claudes in Paris?

A herd of Claudes. A pride, a clutch, an exaltation, a parliment ...

WV: Falsonsy. No, it's the truth.

The Louvre is huge. Mona Lisa is a small painting. Raft of the Medusa is a huge painting. Many of the paintings are huge and the feet were at my eye level. Wow, could they ever paint feet!

A wonderful place to go is Gustave Moreau's studio - now a museum and still pretty much in its original state, at least when we were there. Matisse studied in that very studio.

You didn't even get through half the alphabet and there isn't a single 'Jean hyphen _____' in the bunch.

WV: metrui translated in to English means 'puts rui'

WEll mon amie all I can say is "WHERE is Claude when you need him?"
I'm headed back to Paris on Friday and I will keep my eye out! I still chuckle when I think of Meg Ryan and Kevin Kline in "French Kiss".......Luuuuke!

Being on the loose in France is such fun. I'd toast you with a glass of vin but it's only 8:00am. Later baby.

PS A clutch of CLaudes might be interesting!

I think I would prefer a clutch-of-claudes to a crutch-of-claudes ...

Amy & Wayne & Shanna: This just means I need another trip to Paris.

Trish, been rattling the family skeletons? Take it from PA, some relations are better left alone.

Julie, 8 a.m. in Paris is what -- 10 p.m. in Sidney?

Mais oui, c'est vrai. Je suis LOOSE in France. Take it any way you like.
I'm heading home next week. Be prepared for the fallout. Someone is already having trouble thinking about au revoir. Sniff

If only I were a better writer, I'd devote a post to you my friend. I've had "writer's block" every day of my life. C'est dommage. That said, they say a picture is worth a thousand words so I"m thinking I might still have a way.......... stay tuned!
