Box Step: Chick chicky boom

Desi and Lucy were nice enough to provide a cheery intro to a few Sunday boxer walks. This is what I sung to each, and they loved it, 'cause a boxer can rhumba! (Click, you won't regret it.)

Trixie. The Original Sally Sweet. She's the queen of Delancy Street.

Tyra, like many with a background in ballet, wanted a mirror.

And here's Cuban Pete. Like all smart, young, extremely handsome guys, he's a play-ah, and playing it cool. Thinks the world is his milkbone. chick chicky boom.

I heard rumors about how supermodel Tyra Banks was looking nowadays. Thanks again, superblogger, for playing de paparazzi to get us these shots!

Great video, KB. Lucy's chewing gum was a nice touch.

You have that plastic bag mighty close to your nose.

Singing while walking rescue dogs is a very good idea. Getting them to box step is pure genius. Now they have marketable skills. My parents had a boxer when they lived in San Diego. I always associate boxers with California.

Oh, Tyra. I wish I had a fence.

Julie, plastic bag is just a prop. Won't go into details. All these guys are so housebroken they were ready to pop until I got them out. They're all indoor dogs, think of them as mushy-faced kitties with great bods. Who know how to chick chicky boom.

I'm in love with Cuban Pete. I guess I'm a suckah for playahs. I always liked the bad boys.

I clicked on the link, but I regret it. Puss woke from her cat nap, sat up and started hissing at the laptop. Betty started to cry. I kid you not.

That was a blast from the past for sure. Monday nights with Lucy and Ricky. I had a teacher that wouldn't give homework on that night!

Albert better watch it. My eye is wandering. Cuban Pete is looking pretty darn cute.

I notice they're all wearing those reddish-brown leather collars, issued by Boxer Rescue.

We got Boz from Boxer Rescue on June 8th, 2003. He still has his BR-issue collar. It's in excellent condition, very attractive. Really sets off his handsome coat.

The first Boxer looks like Tangerine. Are they related? Yesterday I passed a baby boxer. He said to tell you hello. He was not Jack S, who I missed (once again) by minutes.

Come on, let's get a little love for Tyra. She gets along just fine with cats. (Petrea, I didn't keep the collar, but I did keep the tag. I have, like, three people listed on both my dogs.)

PA: Missed him again? That elusive pimpernel. How was the show?

Petrea said...

A boxer who likes cats? That might be a bit unusual.

At last: imptia. I don't know what it means, but I believe it applies to Tyra and I like it.
